HOUSTON – Police are looking for information that could help identify a hit-and-run suspect from a crash in late February.
Houston detectives said they are looking for a white Mercedes SUV after surveillance video shows it veering into an occupied lane at the 2200 Bagby Street intersection in Midtown on Feb. 24.
The video shows another car swerving away from the SUV and crashing into a corner of the intersection off-camera.
“Distracted driving can lead to serious incidents. Stay focused, avoid distraction and never leave the scene of a crash,” HPD said in a social media post.
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact the HPD Hit-and-Run unit at (713) 247-4072.
