Houston weather rollercoaster: from the 80s today to the 60s—but when exactly?!

Plus, we’re tracking a slight chance for rain for some, not all.

We’re tracking a dense fog advisory until 9 this morning for areas to the east and south of I-10 so take it slow and use your low beams.

Today our high climbs to 80 which is way above average, but thanks today’s front, our highs will drop sharply into the 60s. Our highs will stay in the 60s the next few days after Sunday before a high-pressure system will warm us back up again.

We’ll track wind gusts pick up to 26 mph around dinnertime as we track the front push through Houston. Models continue to show limited coverage with showers, but there is a chance in the morning. 6 am - 3 pm. After that, the best chance for showers will be mainly north around 5 pm.

Temperatures fall drastically Saturday night by Sunday morning we are waking up to the 40s! Our morning lows will drop to 40 by Tuesday before our lows go back the upper 50s by Wednesday.
