Tracking more rain in Houston after a stormy Father’s Day!

Tracking the chance for rain every day next week

HOUSTON – It’s been a busy Father’s Day in Houston with thunderstorms and gusty conditions throughout the afternoon into the evening. We’ll continue to track a slight chance for thunderstorms during the overnight hours, with another chance for rain in the morning. We’re tracking the chance for thunderstorms just south of I-10 during the morning rush-hour for some not all.

Monday’s Forecast:

We’re tracking another warm and steamy day riddled with the chance for more thunderstorms - starting at rush hour. From 5-7, we’ll watch for the chance for thunderstorms just south of I-10 then we’ll keep a close eye on I-45 and I -10.

Monday will be much like Sunday in terms of temperatures -we’re starting the morning in the upper 70 with our highs in the 80s but thanks to the humidity - the feels like temps will be close to triple-digits again.

Tracking The Tropics

  • Tropical Atlantic: No tropical cyclone activity expected in the next 7 days. The tropical wave train remains fairly quiet heading into the middle of June.
