LIVE RADAR: Heavy thunderstorms, downpours across Houston make for messy, inconvenient start to Wednesday
HOUSTON – Houston is waking up to some thunderous weather Wednesday morning, and it’s expected to remain this way much of the day.
FORECAST: Heavy thunderstorms, pounding rain most of Wednesday across SE Texas before cool air pushes through
This line of thunderstorms from 2 a.m. to 5 a.m. moves from the northwest to the southeast. Because of the timing, you are awakened by the thunder’s rumble. Thankfully, no storms are forecasted to produce tornadoes or damaging winds but heavy rain is expected.

We should get a bit of a break after 7 a.m. but by the lunch hour, things will pick up.
