HOUSTON – An area of low pressure is bringing a surge of Gulf moisture into our very cold environment.

Most of the area has seen the transition from sleet to snow, with the exception of some coastal areas. We expect the transition to continue further south as we continue through the morning.
LATEST ON WINTER STORM: Winter storm warning in place through Tuesday afternoon for Houston
A Winter Storm Warning is in effect until Tuesday afternoon. Areas from Beaumont eastward into Louisiana are also under a Blizzard Warning until noon Tuesday.
