Tracking rain today in Houston with a small chance for some afternoon hail

The rain has returned, bringing some chilly temps in the 60s along with it.

Today’s forecast:

Overcast for the rest of our day and we’re tracking some sprinkles and light showers moving in from the west. Some of the showers won’t make it to the ground, just adding to the cloud cover. By later this evening, a few isolated thunderstorms are possible, mainly across out western counties. Because the air is very chilly just above the surface, we could see some small hail if any thunderstorms can get cranking.
