Work Week Forecast:

After a wonderful weekend with cool mornings, we’ll keep the stretch of nice days continuing into the work week. However, do expect to see morning lows creeping up back into the low to mid 60s and highs back up to near 90.

Tracking Hurricane Orlene:

With what’s left of Ian now a remnant low on the east coast expected to bring a soggy Monday for parts of the Mid-Atlantic, we’re focused off the coast of western Mexico where Hurricane Orlene rapidly intinsified into a Category 4 hurricane before decreasing in intensity to a CAT3 with 115mph sustained winds near the eye and 140mph gusts, Orlene is forecast to move north at 8 mph and pass west of Puerto Vallarta on the way to a late Monday/early Tuesday landfall near Mazatlan as a Cat1 hurricane or tropical storm. Effects from Orlene are not expected to impact Texas.
