Rain ushers in warmer temperature for the weekend
HOUSTON – "Nice" is a relative term, of course, but in our case it means temperatures in the mid- to upper 50s inland and mid-60s along the coast Friday morning under cloudy but rain-free skies.
That will change for some of us in the late morning and into the afternoon with a few showers in the area, but temperatures will also be rising toward and beyond the seasonal high of 70.
The showers will be mostly light and the high will be close to 72 today and even warmer for the weekend as we head into the mid-70s.
However, more changes are coming soon.
A cold front late Sunday will drop high temperatures back into the 50s with a slight rain chance to start the week, and lows Tuesday will be in the upper 30s.
