Cooler weather moves through Houston

Another very warm start with temperatures in the low 70s inland.

Cold front that caused strong storms in North and Northeast Texas is sliding south toward the Houston region, but will not retain the strong aspects.

Timing right now looks like The Woodlands seeing showers and first affects of the front by about 9 a.m. Houston by 11 a.m. and off the coast by 3 p.m.

Cooler air will follow but the impacts won’t really be felt until later this evening as skies clear out and temperatures drop into the low 50s for most of Southeast Texas and upper 40s are possible for northern areas.

Plenty of sun for the next several days with temps starting in the 50s and topping out in the mid 70s Sunday and low 80s Monday and Tuesday.
