Another warm and muggy day is on tap with temperatures hitting the upper 70s to low 80s before a cold front moves through late this afternoon. Isolated showers are expected.

Skies will clear behind the front Northwest to Southeast around sunset. With clear skies and dry air temperatures will drop tonight.

Southeast Texas will wake up in the 40s and 50s Wednesday morning with afternoon temperatures in the 60s.

The KPRC Channel 2 Weather Team is still tracking a larger storm for the weekend. Several inches of rain are expected Saturday through Monday. Flooding does not look to be a large threat at this time but the forecast will be watched closely for any changes.
