Scattered storms expected throughout Friday

HOUSTON – A few scattered storms are hitting the Houston area late Friday morning.

We've got a 40 percent chance of rain. We can expect hot summer-like temperatures Friday with rain chances increasing into the weekend. 

Scattered rain chances over Saturday and Sunday and a front moving through late Sunday could mean heavier rain for Monday.
