HOUSTON – A Flash Flood Watch for most of Southeast Texas has been extended until 7 a.m. Monday.
Isolated, slow-moving heavy rain cells are capable of 3-6 inches per hour and localized flooding where Sunday's storms happen.
Futurecast models indicate a bit of a break from the rain mid-morning until early afternoon when heat of the day will fire more storms.
Expect a rainy Monday as well with rain chances staying in place for every day next week. We do get a break from the temps with highs in the mid to upper 80s rather than near 100.
