New Program Installs Free Air Conditioners for Seniors & Low-Income Families in Galveston

A new pilot program called Project FatCat is bringing much-needed relief to Galveston’s most vulnerable residents. Thanks to a partnership between Build Galveston and the CenterPoint Energy Foundation, dozens of families—including seniors, people with disabilities, and low-income households—are receiving free air conditioning units.
