Free A/C Units for Galveston’s Most Vulnerable | Project FatCat Changing Lives

Summers in Southeast Texas are only getting hotter, but a local nonprofit in Galveston is stepping up to help. Project FatCat, a joint effort between Build Galveston and the CenterPoint Energy Foundation, is installing free air conditioning units for dozens of vulnerable families—including seniors, people with disabilities, and low-income households.
