Buckle up Houston, Mo Amer returns with season 2 of ‘Mo’ on Netflix

Houstonians are pretty good at turning life’s chaos into pure hilarity, but no one does it quite as good as Alief native, Mo Amer. His award winning, semi-autobiographical Netflix show ‘Mo,’ returns with a new season this Thursday, and it’s packed with more laughs, more heart, and even more hummus. Season 2 finds Mo stranded across the border and desperate to get back to Houston before his family’s asylum hearing - but as a stateless refugee without a passport, he’s gonna need all the hustle and charm he can muster. With tons of nods to Houston and its diverse culture, the new season is bigger, bolder, and packed with laughs you didn’t see coming.
