Luke Combs | Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old Tour
Calling all Luke Combs fans! Luke Combs will be performing at NRG on Friday and Saturday. Both nights will be filled with fun and memories for those who plan to attend. There will be street closures surrounding the event. Parking at the gate will be $40 plus tax. METRO Lift will enter and exit through gate 12.
Road closures will begin as early as 2 pm. Street closures include:
CLOSED 2:00 pm – 1:00 am
Murworth from Lantern Point to Kirby
Lantern Point from McNee to Murworth
CLOSED 8:00 pm – 1:00 am
Kirby from 610 to Westridge Northbound
Kirby from McNee to Murworth
Watermelon Dash
Many school districts went back to school this week. But now it’s time to dash into the weekend with a sweet race. The annual Watermelon Dash will be held on Saturday starting at Karbach Brewing Co. Parking will be free at the location. The first race will begin at 7:30 am. So, surrounding neighbors should expect closures around that time.
Here are the streets that will be impacted:
- Dacoma between Karbach and Mangum
- Southbound lanes of Mangum between Dacoma and W 18th Street
- Westbound lanes of W. 18th and the northwest curb lane of Hempstead Road
- Northbound lanes on Antoine Dr. between Hempstead and Mitchelldale
- Eastbound lanes on Mitchelldale St. between Antoine Dr. & Central Pkwy
- Southbound lanes on Central Pkwy.
- Eastbound lanes on Dacoma
