Deadly crash involving 18-wheeler closes outbound lanes of Southwest Freeway at W. Bellfort, police say
HOUSTON – Houston police said they are investigating a deadly crash involving an 18-wheeler on the Southwest Freeway near W. Bellfort Friday.
It happened around 4:30 a.m. Police said one person has died in that crash.
According to officers, all outbound lanes of the Southwest Freeway at W. Bellfort are closed as a result of the crash. The ramp from the Beltway to South Freeway southbound is also closed.
Drivers are urged to find an alternate route at this time.
