Quinceañeras, one of the most cherished traditions in Latinx culture, are meant to be a grand celebration marking a young woman’s transition into adulthood. But for several Houston-area families, their dream-event turned into a nightmare, when they encountered unfulfilled promises from a choreographer who had been hired to provide dance services for their daughters’ quinceañera celebrations.

They were able to celebrate a very special birthday with all of their loved ones with masks and plenty of social distance. The family came up with a drive-by quinceaera birthday party. All of her loved ones were even able to watch the special quinceaera moment when Azalia danced with her father.
