Trade deadline passes, and Kyle Lowry remains with Raptors

The trade deadline has come and gone. โAnytime you trade a player like Nikola, it is a tough decision to make," Magic President Jeff Weltman said. But Lowry โ a free-agent-to-be and considered perhaps the biggest prize on this year's trade market โ did not get traded, the Raptors apparently unable to find enough assets to their liking. Questions swirled around Lowry all the way to the 3 p.m. EST deadline, and there were signs that the Raptors were positioning themselves to make the move.
Carnival Cruise Line cancels additional cruises through end of January; Galveston third on list for resuming operations
GALVESTON, Texas โ Carnival Cruise Line has notified guests and travel agents that it has canceled additional cruises for the first part of 2021. Thereโs no firm date given by Carnival on the date when it would resume operations in Galveston. The cruise line previously canceled operations in Australia through March 2, 2021. โWe are committed to meeting the CDC requirements and keeping our guests and business partners informed of our progress,โ said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line. โThe entire Carnival team appreciates the great support of our guests, travel advisors and business partners, and local officials in our homeports and destinations.โ
