Houston Astros right-hander Spencer Arrighetti had a no-hit bid broken up with one out in the eighth inning Friday night when Texas Rangers rookie Justin Foscue hit a line-drive single to left field.

Kyle Tucker was instantly inserted into the lineup, batting 4th, but will not play the field. The Astros star right fielder has been out since June 3 after fouling a ball off his shin.

Yordan Alvarez belted two home runs and drove in three runs, rookie Spencer Arrighetti struck out a season-high 13 over seven innings and the Houston Astros beat the Boston Red Sox 5-4 on Saturday.
