2nd person wanted in officer-involved shooting in Montgomery County arrested

HOUSTON โ The second person who was wanted in connection with an officer-involved shooting in Montgomery County last week was arrested Tuesday. Erik Burse, spokesman for the Texas Department of Public Safety, said Tyler Goodson was taken into custody after he was found driving a stolen vehicle. According to authorities, Goodson and 29-year-old Rebecca Orange were inside a pickup that a DPS trooper had stopped on Interstate 45. He said the chase ended in a crash and Goodson being taken into custody.

SPRING, Texas โ One of the two people being sought Wednesday after an officer-involved shooting near Spring has been taken into custody. Burse said that as the identification was being run, Goodson jumped back in the truck and began driving away while Orange fled on foot. Orange was later found and taken into custody, officials said. AdAuthorities said both Goodson and Orange have multiple warrants issued for their arrest. The Texas Rangers, the stateโs investigative agency, is taking over the investigation of the shooting.
