According to NASA’s website, the selected candidates will undergo nearly two years of training before they become flight-eligible astronauts for agency missions to low Earth orbit, the Moon, and ultimately, Mars.

According to its website, NASA is seeking “volunteers to passively track the Artemis II Orion spacecraft as the crewed mission travels to the Moon and back to Earth."

History will be made when four all-private astronauts make their way on the first all-private mission to the International Space Station as part of Axiom Mission 1.
