Despite guilty verdict, families continue to fight for the release of imprisoned oil executives
A Venezuelan judge recently found six oil executives guilty of corruption charges in a case that began in November 2017. Family members of the former Citgo executives were stunned by the verdict and vowed to continue fighting for the menโs release. In the letter, Zambrano appeared optimistic the trial would show none of the men did anything wrong. (KPRC)Forseth said a single judge rendered verdict and punishment at the conclusion of a trial where access was tightly controlled. We continue to pray for them and their families and hope for a resolution that will lead to their prompt release.

Dallas Mavericks Mark Cuban spars with Sen. Ted Cruz over kneeling during the national anthem
DALLAS, Texas Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban pushed back against both Texas Sen. Ted Cruz and a radio show host after he said he would support his franchises plans to kneel during the national anthem this season. The entrepreneur and billionaire clapped back at radio host Mark Davis, who tweeted his opposing stance on players kneeling during the anthem. Cruz joined in the Twitter battle Monday when he retweeted Cubans one-word response to Davis with his own quote-tweet. NBA is telling everyone who stands for the flag, who honors our cops and our veterans, to piss off? Cruz wrote. The billionaire has previously shown support for kneeling during the anthem, according to an interview with ESPNs Outside the Lines in June.
