Police say Robert E. Crimo, the suspected gunman who targeted an Independence Day parade in suburban Chicago, fired more than 70 rounds and evaded initial capture by blending into the fleeing crowd, disguising himself in women’s clothing. Crimo was originally identified as a person of interest, but authorities said formal charges are expected to be filed later Tuesday.
