Precinct 4 received several tips about an increasing number of prostitution cases, especially around schools. For that reason, over the past few weeks, Constable Herman said his officers spent weeks conducting investigations, with undercover and uniformed personnel.

“Prostitution is one of the prime driving forces behind human trafficking, with the new felony penalties the demand for paid sex will be reduced," Constable Mark Herman said in a statement.
