Fireworks sales officially began Saturday in the Houston area as residents prepare for Christmas and New Year’s celebrations.

Investigators say a man suspected of driving drunk and speeding crashed his car. While officers were investigating the scene, another driver (also believed to be under the influence) drove past a barricade and into the crash scene.
