Jose Ivan Mendoza, 37, has been charged with capital murder for the 2021 death of Jesus Salgado in Houston, where Salgado was allegedly stabbed, burned, and beaten during an attempted kidnapping.

Prosecutors have charged a California man in the kidnapping and killings of an 8-month-old baby, her parents and uncle.

Authorities say the suspect in the kidnapping and killing of a central California family was a former employee who had a longstanding dispute with them.

The sheriff of Merced County in California says a baby girl and three other family members who were kidnapped at gunpoint from their business two days ago have been found dead.
