Kingwood Youth lacrosse has had a great season this year and with the end of the season tournament approaching this weekend the Mustangs look to end on a high note. VYPE was on hand April 15th to capture the highlights from their last game and more!!
The Kingwood girls are battling in DII lacrosse. Leading the way is Mikaela Cook who has 24 goals on the season. Others on the attack are Emma Dohse, Kendall Weatherford and Erin Flannigan. In goal is Kyla Smith.
Kingwood lacrosse is rich in history, having started in 1993. Fast-forward 30 years and the Mustangs are still a perennial power in the Greater Houston Area. Kingwood celebrated their seniors this week as the Mustang legacy continues.
The Kingwood Mustangs girls lacrosse program is on the come up. There is a new culture in The Stable, which should get the ‘Stangs in the Houston-area postseason conversation.
