This week, the entire KPRC 2 team is working on ‘Breaking Free’ to help domestic and partner abuse survivors. Our goal is to provide resources, support and solutions to help people in our community. Domestic violence has no boundaries or barriers. It can affect anyone, regardless of age, race, gender, or sexual orientation; but much of the domestic violence awareness movement focuses on solely heterosexual relationships. Members of the LGBTQ community say they do not feel seen or heard.
