Two of the Katy Freeway inbound lanes at Cane Island Parkway in Fort Bend County have reopened Tuesday following a hazmat spill, according to TxDOT.

KATY, Texas – A large gas leak that caused road closures and evacuations in Katy has been contained, according to a Katy spokesperson. According to the update, “CenterPoint Energy has contained the gas leak and will continue their repairs at the site. Both lanes of FM 1463 have been reopened.
