Las Vegas quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo has been cleared for the Raiders’ game Monday night at the Detroit Lions.

Raiders quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo will not play Sunday because of a back injury when Las Vegas visits the Chicago Bears, a person with knowledge of the situation said.

The New York Jets acknowledge they’ll need to at least keep up with Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs’ explosive offense Sunday night if they expect to have any chance of winning.
