Houston police shut down the B Rabbit Nightclub on South Gessner after multiple complaints and criminal incidents, including drunk driving and shootings linked to the club. Despite being closed by the Fire Marshal in October for safety hazards, the club continued operating, leading to three arrests and the seizure of several items.

It's unclear how the shooting transpired, but the man was said to step outside of the after-hours club for unknown reasons and after he was shot, went back inside to get help.
