As Major League Baseball’s lockout continues, Correa is currently a free agent after finishing his seventh big league season with the Astros. Houston had made the shortstop the first overall pick in the 2012 MLB draft. This past season, Correa was named an All-Star for the second time in his career and won a Gold Glove as well as a Platinum Glove for his defensive efforts. Offensively, he hit .279 with 26 home runs and 92 RBI with 104 runs in 148 regular-season games.
