HOUSTON – New injury news from the Houston Astros out of Daikin Park Tuesday afternoon.
The Astros have placed IF Jeremy Peña on the 10-day IL with a left calf strain and have recalled infielder Raynel Delgado from Triple A Sugar Land Space Cowboys.

Peña indicated leg discomfort and did not play in the series opener against the Minnesota Twins Monday night.
The setback could keep him on the shelf for 10 days or perhaps longer which would lead to the MLB All-Star break.
