“It’s huge for the city and of course thanks to the Fertitta’s”, Cooper told KPRC 2 Sports Director Randy McIlvoy Tuesday night at Toyota Center.
“It’s great to have the legacy and heritage back here in Houston,” added Cooper.
Swoopes also weighed in the return of the rising sport to Houston.
“The history and legacy, Tilman’s always been a huge fan and it’s nice to finally see the team come back here,” Swoopes told McIlvoy before the Rockets game.
“The city loved us when were here and they’ll love us coming back. The growth of the game right now is out of this world,” added Swoopes.
