What to watch at the Winter Olympics for Monday, Feb. 9

The 2026 Winter Olympics kicked off with opening ceremonies on Friday.

Since then, we have seen Team USA take home two gold medals with Breezy Johnson taking one in the woman’s alpine downhill skiing competition, and Ilia Malinin taking home another in team figure skating.

Monday will be the third full day of competition and there is multiple events to look forward to.

Events and times for Monday

  • Curling– Mixed doubles round robin – USA vs Italy - 3:05 a.m. (CT)
  • Figure skating– Ice dance, free dance – Madison Chock & Evan Bates, Christina Carreira & Anthony Ponomarenko, Emilea Zingas & Vadym Kolesnik - 12:20 a.m. (CT)
  • Freestyle skiing – Women’s freeski slopestyle final – Avery Krumme – 5:30 a.m. (CT)
  • Ice Hockey –Women’s preliminary round Group A – USA vs Switzerland – 1:40 p.m. (CT)
  • Luge– Women’s singles Runs 1 & 2 – Summer Britcher, Ashley Farquharson and Emily Fischnaller – 10 a.m. (CT)

Where can I watch the Olympics?

You can watch the 2026 Winter Olympics on KPRC 2 on weekdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. You can also watch the Olympics on Peacock.
