HOUSTON – The 2017 World Series marks the 39th year a series has gone to Game 7.

The past 38 times, the home team has won 18 times, while the road team in Game 7 has come out on top 20 times.

The Houston Astros have 26 home runs so far in the postseason, which is just one off the record held by the 2002 Giants.

There have been 24 home runs in this series, a new record for a single World Series.

This World Series features nine home runs by players younger than age 26.
