No Astros player leads position in All-Star Game ballot voting

HOUSTON – Major League baseball announced the first update on AL all-star voting and no Astros player currently leads his position in the voting.

Despite holding the best record in the major leagues at 37-16, only second baseman Jose Altuve is close to leading his position, trailing the Yankees' Starling Castro by less than 1,000 votes.

Carlos Correa is second among shortstops, but trails Indians shortstop Francisco Lindor by nearly 350,000 votes.

The game is scheduled for July 11.
