UH coach previews Cougars' opener against Oklahoma

HOUSTON – It's opening week for college football and the University of Houston Cougars start with a big game Saturday at NRG Stadium against 3rd-ranked Oklahoma.

Head Coach Tom Herman said the team had a new spark at practice since the team started game planning for OU last weeek.

This was a tough camp for the Coogs. One item Herman addressed was the fact, despite last year's success, UH still has to earn respect.
