Dynamo introduce four new players

HOUSTON – The Dynamo introduced its newest members Friday at Houston Sports Park following the club’s morning practice. The four players -- Eric Alexander, Yair Arboleda, Keyner Brown and José Escalante -- were acquired before the summer transfer window on Aug. 3.

General Manager Matt Jordan said the organization pursued them aggressively before the deadline to ensure a successful second half of the season. Jordan believes the players are a good fit for the team because each athlete represents the Dynamo’s core values of sportsmanship and hard work.

“We’re here to push each other, and we all have one goal and that’s to make the team better,” says newcomer and 2013 Supporters’ Shield winner Eric Alexander.

Jordan said the organization hopes to integrate them into gameplay as soon as possible, which could be as early as Saturday night’s match with Toronto FC at BBVA Compass Stadium.
