Rapper Bun B releases "Crush City" song to support Astros playoff run
HOUSTON – Bun B released a song dedicated to the Houston Astros' 2015 postseason run ahead of the team's first game Thursday against the Kansas City Royals at Kauffman Stadium.
The song is called "Crush City" and debuted Thursday. The track samples rapper Tyga's "Rack City" song, which was released in 2011.
The lyrics go as follows:
"We keep it 200 like the hits from Altuve H-Town, you don't want it down here We got Carlos Correa, he's the rookie of the year With Keuchel on the mound, backed up with Tony Sipp Not to mention Evan Gattis and Conger, don't trip With Rasmus, Gomez and Springer on deck Chris Carter and Luis Valbuena is gonna rip So show us some respect, we came to lay the muscle down Turn it up in Club Astros, for Hustle Town"
The No. 5 seed Astros defeated the No. 4 seed New York Yankees 3-0 in the American League wild-card game Tuesday at Yankee Stadium in Bronx, New York to advance to the American League Division Series against the No. 1 seed Royals.
