Rice Owls talk about their date with No. 5 Baylor

Houston – Houston's college football scene is strong so far in 2015. UH is 2-0 but the Rice Owls are 2-1 and made a strong showing in their loss to Texas.

One thing is clear, the Owls load up their schedule and it's legit.  They want to play high caliber opponents to prepare them for Conference USA.

David Bailiff has led the Owls for nine years and Rice has enjoyed three straight trips to Bowl games and another one looks promising this winter.

The Owls took care of Wagner, played well against the Longhorns and then earned a nice win at North Texas this past weekend.

The Owls offense is riding high as they head to Waco to take on No. 5 Baylor.
