Woman in custody after deadly shooting near Greenspoint, police say
HOUSTON – A woman shot a man to death Wednesday in north Houston, according to police.
Police are working to determine why the woman shot 27-year-old Samuel Earl Edmon at the Canfield Lakes apartment complex near Greenspoint around 7:10 p.m.
Police responded to reports of multiple shots fired, and when they arrived, they found Edmon dead from at least one gunshot wound.
The woman was taken into custody a short time after, and police are trying to figure out why she shot Edmon.
No charges have been filed at this time.
