HOUSTON – The iconic sign on the Katy Freeway will be moved to a location to be named later, according to a representative of the sculptor.
Natalie Solomon told KPRC 2 News that the sign, a photo op for Houstonians and visitors alike, will be moved due in part to the recent development of townhomes directly behind the sign.
Sculptor David Adickes erected the 'We Love Houston' sign at its current location back in 2013.
Solomon said the details of where and when the sign will be moved are still being worked out.
