A Los Angeles City Council member is in the spotlight after it was discovered he is one of the 11 people Kentucky Fried Chicken follows on Twitter -- among them, five other men named Herb, and the five original members of the Spice Girls.
Councilman Herb Wessen Jr., one of the verified "Herbs," celebrated by tweeting a photo of himself eating the chicken.
"That finger lickin' good feeling when you are one of @KFC's 11 herbs and spices!"
The numbers, of course, referring to the number of herbs and spices in KFC's "original recipe" chicken.
The revelation was discovered Thursday by Twitter user @edgette22.
".@KFC follows 11 people. Those 11 people? 5 Spice Girls and 6 guys named Herb. 11 Herbs & Spices. I need time to process this."
