Small plane overturns during crash at Hooks Airport; no injuries reported

HOUSTON – A small plane overturned while landing at Hooks Airport Tuesday afternoon.

The incident was reported around 4 p.m. at 20803 Stuebner Airline Road.

Klein Volunteer Fire Department said the plane landed and ran off the runway, which caused it to hit the grass and flip over.

Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said the single-engine aircraft had one person on board. Gonzalez said the pilot was not injured during impact.
