Man shot to death during dispute at Spring motel, officials say

SPRING, Texas – A man was killed after being fatally shot during an altercation at a motel in Spring, officials said.

The shooting was reported at 7:30 a.m. at a Motel 6 at Cypresswood Drive and North Freeway.

Witnesses told officials that an argument broke out between two groups of people in the parking lot of the motel. Officials said shots were fired and one man was hit.

Officials said the victim was put in a vehicle to be taken to a hospital. The driver of the vehicle pulled into an Exxon gas station on FM 1960, where the man was pronounced dead.

Harris County sheriff’s deputies are investigating the shooting.

Deputies are searching for two men and two women as possible suspects who left in a dark-colored SUV.

No arrests have been made.
