1 dead, another hospitalized after shooting in northeast Houston, police say

One person is dead and another has been hospitalized following a shooting in northeast Houston, according to Houston police.

Houston Police Department homicide investigators are at the scene near the 8000 block of Mesa Drive. Police confirmed one male was found dead at the scene, while another person was transported to a hospital.
