Person hospitalized after shooting in SE Houston

HOUSTON – Authorities say one person has been taken to the hospital after a shooting in southeast Houston Tuesday.
It happened at the intersection of Martin Luther King Blvd. and Griggs Road.
Houston police say they received the call around 1:40 p.m.
One suspect reportedly fled the scene after the shooting. A description of the suspect is unknown at this time.
The victim was transported to a hospital in unknown condition.
Other details are limited at this time.
Units are currently at the scene investigating.
