Man arrested after private ambulance stolen with medic inside in northwest Harris County

HOUSTON – A man was taken into custody after a private ambulance was stolen with a medic still inside Monday afternoon, according to the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office.

The incident was reported around 3 p.m. near the intersection of Bold River Road and Doss Landing Avenue in the 19300 block.

Authorities said the suspect was quickly located and attempted to flee on foot but was captured after a brief chase.

The medic inside the stolen ambulance was safely recovered. No injuries were reported.

The investigation remains ongoing. Residents in the area may experience traffic delays due to a heavy law enforcement presence.
